I pissed off an “Ent”
This is what I had to deal with this morning
The tree next to my house lost a (very large) branch in the thunderstorm last night, and it landed on my house. There wasn’t any damage, though a few more inches and it could have gone through my bedroom window!
$250 later it was turned into this:

Assuming that the cut up branch is stacked next to its tree, your neighbor is crazy in saying the tree is on your property. It looks like it is right next to his house.

First, I told you that teasing trees by repeating “Where’s your Entwife now?!” over and over was going to lead to trouble.
Second, I’m glad you are alright.
Third, that was a really rotten branch. I can tell that from the big brown patch in the middle of the cut logs. Makes me wonder how much of the rest of the tree is waiting to fall in high winds.
