Thanksgiving
Things learned on the trip up
1) Ryan’s is open on Thanksgiving in Indiana (to a full crowd)
2) Don’t follow the GPS into the backwoods of Michigan. It is not any faster than taking the highway.
3) Whose the cutest baby ever? Is it JJ? Is it JJ?

What a cutie! Good practice for Nick. ;-) How old is the little guy? And do they not have heat in his room? (the layers…it’s hard enough getting my youngest to wear one outfit, I shudder to think of getting her into two of them…) (Hmmm. The captcha is “Barth awful”. I guess I’m not the only “You Can’t Do That On Television” fan around here.)

He’s about 3 months old. He had three layers on, which is good if he is going skiing or living in Michigan. My sister (who is a pediatrician) explained that blankets in the early years increase the risk of SIDS, so they layer him up at night instead of swaddling him.
My mom showed me that he has a closet full of onesies that he’s gotten as gifts. Considering the one I got him will only fit for three months, he may never see it again! Do’h!
