Wallflowers 2.0
I knew two things after the MC Frontalot YouTube contest deadline was extended.
- I wanted to make it better
- I would need help to do that
Thankfully I got some help from Marshall Miller. Marshall and I have known each other since college where we collaborated on The Emperor’s New Clothes together. He’s now an animator at Bazillion Pictures in Kansas City. Marshall added compositing, Z-Ray rendering, and other big words to the animation, taking it to a whole other level. I also played around with After Effects a bit on this one, and let me tell ya – me like. Me like a lot.

Notez on the pikturz:
The Simon Says dance floor is a very good touch, as is the bartending MCP! I also liked the cantina scene on the wall and the LOLZ rating. The winking Wonder Woman is good too, but should she be a Goth Girl?
The only part I found less than optimal (prime) is that some of the figures are pretty dark when dancing at the club. I’m a nit-picker.

@Dave: Club Nurd isn’t new, but it was done better this time around. I let Marshall do the redesign of the club based on the first video, and the changes he made (the Simon dance floor especially) are so cool.
@Cory: Yeah, it’s dark. It’s a night club. :-)
